Aloe vera
Aloe vera, also known as the medicinal aloe, is a species of succulent plant that probably originated in Northern Africa.

Aloe vera grows in arid climates and is widely distributed in Africa and other arid areas.

There is some preliminary evidence that Aloe vera, as a dietary supplement, may be useful in supporting and maintaining normal blood levels in humans. These positive effects are thought to be due to the presence of compounds such as polysaccharides, mannans, anthraquinones and lectins. Humans have been using Aloe vera since Biblical times.

Dandy Day Corporation was founded by Sam and Karen Jenkins in 1979 as a homebased, family business. All of the Dandy Day products contain concentrated Aloe Vera, which in 1979 was a completely new concept for the aloe industry. At the time, Dandy Day Corporation was having other companies manufacture their products, but because of inconsistencies in quality, in 1985 Dandy Day Corporation began to formulate and manufacture their own products.
